Final Critique: Tuesday December 4th at 2:30 in 468
Here's what you need to know:
The Cookbook Recipe Assignment:
Please bring your double-page (landscape)
output prints to class with visualizing your favorite recipe designed as only you can do
for this assignment. Make sure it is 12"x18".
The CMC is printing out files for you at record-low costs. I think
Phillip has dropped the cost even more from low 50cent price for a 12" x 18" so
bring your paper and print there if you wish. The design is a full bleed.
All Semester Advanced Typography Work Collected on Tuesday:
All the work you've created this semester during the Advanced Typography course needs to be put onto a CD/DVD for me.

If you want to leave the Wine/Olive Bottles in my office over break you

The Sketchbook Project
The Reinvented Sketchbook Project
An ever growing library of inspiration
Hello!Six years ago we set out to create an art project that would connect creative people from all over the country. In the past few years the project has grown exponentially. We have had participants from over 135 different countries, and went from 1200 books in the collection in 2009 to over 22,000 sketchbooks today. We have had over 1.3 million views on our digital library and have traveled almost 50,000 miles with the project.
Though all of this exceeded our expectations, we felt that it was time to evolve. The idea of a yearly project was not sustainable. We wanted something that would be more accessible and easier for us to visit more cities and reach more people.
With that in mind, The Sketchbook Project staff has created The Mobile Library. The Mobile Library is a custom built 16 foot trailer that will travel the back roads of America yearround hoping to reach as many as 45 cities a year. It already has a schedule of 20 cities is 2013
We hope you will become a part of the reinvented Sketchbook Project. See you on the road!
Sincerely,
Steven Peterman
Co-Founder

World AIDS Day - December 1, 2012
World AIDS Day is always on December 1st.
It is a day to reflect and remember those who have lost their lives to this disease and to celebrate those who are currently living with it.
Last year in the Senior Advertising class the designers created some very stellar advertising campaigns for MODA that were featured during a 24-hour exhibition at the museum.
I wanted to share these images with you because you will be producing a poster during class for this year's celebration using the MODA logo.
It will be an in-class assignment.
